Aims & Objectives

A. Quality Assurance

• To appraise members with the concept of quality control.
• To make available quality control material among fellow members.
• To ensure quality of testing material and reagents. VILAC –Voluntary Inter Laboratory Comparison Programme is the official Proficiency Testing Programme of APP. This Proficiency Testing Programme is ISO 9001:2008 certified.

B. Continued Medical Education (CME)

• To keep pace with recent advances in medical field and diagnostic techniques.
• Symposium/ seminars are organized through out the year on a quarterly basis. The duration varies from 3-4 hours and 3-4 eminent speakers discuss and deliberate on topics of mutual interest.

C. Fellowship

• To meet fellow pathologists and understand their difficulties and share their experiences.
• To have quarterly meetings which are attended by more than 75% of the members.

D. The society does not indulge itself in political activities
